Developments in WSW’s activities
WSW guarantee facilities have been extended over the years to include:

• 1983: housing renovation, improvement and maintenance
• 1989: subsidised new housing
• 1994: almost all loans arranged for social housing purposes
• 1999: care homes
• 2000: non-residential properties with a social function
• 2001: certain projects co-owned by housing associations, mainly via general or limited partnerships
• 2002: prefinancing of project development
• 2003: project losses on investments guaranteed by the Urban Regeneration Guarantee Fund
• 2005: nursing homes
