About social housing

Social housing varies considerably from country to country, specifically the quality of the properties available to rent or buy, the relationship between supply and demand and the extent to which governments seek to regulate and stimulate the sector. Different national and regional demographic, social, political and economic factors mean that each country has its own housebuilding practices, ownership rights, rental contracts, taxes and so on. Despite these differences, there is a parallel in that all countries benefit from funding at favorable rates and a transparent market. WSW is the organization ideally placed to create these conditions for the Dutch residential rental market.
